Well hello, here is a picture of my 70 Camaro equipped with a richmond 5 speed, centerfornce clutch and hurst shifter. i bought this car from a buddy of mine about 5 months ago while it was still equipped with the stock transmission, and boy was she sluggish!! The motor had plenty of power, but the stocker was not helping it get back to the 3:08's. so, why not have some fun and throw in a 5 speed, i had no other choice in my mind but to go with a Richmond and a Centerforce, no ifs and or buts!! Now it just hauls. The story of the engine goes back to when i use to work in a machine shop in Northern Californa, I did everything to this motor! The rods have been shot peened the beams are polished and balanced and rod honed, with new ARP rod bolts ( which allow this motor to spin to 7,000 rpm ) the pistons have been balanced the crank has been balanced shot peened and reground, The heads have had the bowels opened up larger ex and intake valves, have screw in studs guide plates full roller rockers 1.5 ratio a Weind xcelerator manifold and holley 650 on top, the cam is good sized, well just leave that at that =) I sold this motor to a friend of mine when I joined the Marine Corps , well 2 years past and nothing had been going on with the car so I asked to buy it cause i REALLY REALLY wanted this motor and we struck up a deal and now its all MINE!!! I love it, I thank my dad, my friend fred and my sister for helping and working long nights in Livermore Ca to get this to me, while I work on station in 29 palms CA at marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center working as a gunner for an M1A1 tank with 120 mm cannon. I thank them all so much, hopefully well get to see my car up on here soon thank you so much Dan Camberos oh p.s. Im 22 years old if that helps
