Regal The engine is a 502
BBC, it has 9:1.1 compression, an Ultradyne
roller cam with .660 lift, heads have no port work except I put in 2.25 intake
valves, has a Dart single plane intake, and 1050 dominator with power valves
for street use.
Stock gas tank with
sump welded on, and two Holley blue pumps feed gas through -8 lines.
Has NOS with 150 jets
used only in second gear due to the car not having enough traction to use in
first gear and two much rear end gear to use in third gear.
The transmission is
an ATI turbo 350 with an ATI 8 inch converter.
The drive shart is a
Dennys nitrous ready driveshaft.
The
rearend is a Moser 9inch ford with a Strange center section, Daytona pinion
support, and Detriot Locker and 4.11 Richmond gears
The brakes are Wilwood
heavy duty disks front and rear with a Mopar manual master cylinder.
The roll cage is a 10
point with removable sidebars built by Steve Roth.
The interior is otherwise
stock, power bench seat, column shifter, power windows and locks.
Body is stock except
Glassteck 4" cowl hood. Paint is
original except hood.
Car has never been trailered,
was driven on part of Hot Rod Power Tour East and to Reading PA and back to
race in NMCA event.
Car has gone 10.58 @
128MPH on BFG's and 10.20 @ 133MPH on 9X28 MT all on pump gas being driven to
the track on extremely hot days.
I built the car when
I was 18 by myself using money from my grasscutting company. I am now 24. All the work on the car has been done myself.
