This is a picture of my 1974 Chevrolet Corvette. I have been building it for 3 years now. It is built towards some spirited high performance street driving, along with some racing. The engine consist of a Chevy small block 350 bored .020 oversize. It wears Sportman II heads with an Edelbrock RPM Intake & Cam.The valves are bumped by Crane Gold roller rockers. Feeding is done with the help of a Holley 750 4 barrel. Igniting the fuel is a MSD Box with a Mallory Unilite Distributor. All the spent fuel exits through Hooker Headers 2.5" dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. The tranny is the original 4-speed with a Centerforce clutch, and Lakewood Bellhousing. Over the winter last year my car's suspension was upgraded with a Vette Brakes & Products Street&Slalom kit which consist of; fiberglass rear leaf spring (replacing 9 steel leafs), 550 lb front coils, Carrera Chrome Adjustable shocks, and 1 1/8" front/ 3/4" rear sway bars. All bushings have been replaced with Energy Suspensions red poly bushings. While the suspension was out the rear wheel bearings were replaced along with the rear differential being rebuilt. The gears were then changed from the original 3.55 to Richmond 3.90 gears. My car also recieved a 4 point rollbar and a new carpet while everything was out from under the car. It is now legal to both Autocross race and Drag Race. But most importantly is that it is now VERY fun to drive on the road when going to and from the track!

Hope you like it, Mike Ocasio
